Verification for DAO Voting
Users must KYC before exercising AMKT DAO governance voting rights.

The Service Provider is a legal entity and must act in accordance with the laws of its jurisdiction. This ensures that AMKT can operate for the years to come.
The Service Provider is responsible for verifying AMKT holders who wish to participate in DAO operations. The Service Provider may perform any checks on an AMKT holder they deem necessary to comply with the law before issuing a verification. At the outset, the only check a holder needs to perform is on-chain KYC.
AMKT holders have the rights listed in this constitution. Holding AMKT does not currently grant any additional rights.
Someone has to perform any necessary software updates to the smart contracts. The AMKT Governance Stewards will approve any software updates before they are applied.
Users must verify their identity through KYC before voting in the AMKT DAO snapshot. The AMKT DAO uses Goldfinch, which in turn leverages Persona for the KYC check and Parallel Markets infrastructure to issue the KYC NFT.
This process checks for the following:
That the user has a valid identity.
The user is not a duplicate of another.
If this information has been confirmed by the KYC provider, the user is issued with a Unique Identifier (UID). One important note, a UID means no personally identifiable data is stored on-chain.
The user can then submit an Ethereum transaction that mints the UID, which is a non-transferrable NFT that is sent to their address. When the user participates in protocols like our DAO, these protocols can check that they have this UID, ensuring they are unique and KYC’ed, KYB’ed, or accredited.
Instructions on how to Mint a UID can be found in the Goldfinch guide.
